Frequently Asked Questions

It is very normal to have questions when you start to consider seeking therapeutic services. Here are some of the common questions my clients often ask me. If you don't find the answers to the questions you're looking for, please contact me to have your questions answered.

1.

What is the Cost Per Session?

My fee for individual psychotherapy is $260 per 50-min session, and $285 per 50-min couples or family session. I reserve a certain number of sliding scale openings when possible to serve those clients with economic limitations, and discuss what fee is feasible based your unique life factors at the time of your free phone consultation.

2.

Do You Take Insurance?

I am considered an out of network provider. If you have a PPO insurance plan I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. The rate of reimbursement is dependent upon your individual plan

3.

Do You Provide Telehealth/Online Therapy?

Yes, I meet with clients over a HIPPA compliant video platform. I find video and phone sessions to be an effective way to provide therapeutic support. Clients have reported that meeting online has decreased stress related to commuting and improved their abilities to make weekly appointments

4.

Is Therapy Right for Me?

Therapy presents the opportunity for change in one's life. Too often individuals wait to seek therapy until they've exhausted all other options for support and have reached a point of crisis. Therapy can instead be the starting point towards leading a more fulfilling life where you can receive unbiased and judgement-free support catered to your unique needs.
